If you are asked to write a YouTube Ad Script, you might need some inspiration
The best way to do this is by having your own swipe files of great Youtube ads.
Here’s how you can create your own YT swipe files
Let’s jump onto it…
Step 0: Disable your ad blocker (if you’ve one). This is super important otherwise YouTube won’t show you any ad.
Step 1: Pause the video ad, right click, and select “Copy Debug Info”
Step 2: Go to adleg.com/debug and paste that one into the box.
Step 3: The link will be displayed below the box. Click it or copy it in a Google Doc.
And start building your own swipe file.
Unfortunately, this method only works on Desktop/laptop/Mac. (Not on mobile)
But if you’re ambitious, that’s not a big deal. (Jump on laptop now.)
And there you have it… Your Personal Youtube Ad Swipe File.
Use for inspiration and generating ideas next time you are asked to write youtube ad script.
